Satan's Deceptions

What Satan Doesn't Want You To Know

The start of this exposition of the deceptions that satan has used to cause people to live unbelieving and wicked lives and to not believe God’s words throughout the history of this World is explained starting with one passage in the book of Revelations. This one passage in the Bible is the key to understanding much of God’s Word concerning events occurring in the last days and how satan has set about to distort God’s Word since the beginning of mankind.

The verses I will quote to you is in Revelations chapter twenty, verse one through three.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

This passage tells us that satan will be bound for one thousand years to prevent him from practicing his deception on the people of the World. This one passage validates that satan has been deceiving mankind for about the last six thousand years since man was created. One other thing I want you to take from this passage is that the thousand years spoken of is the one thousand year millennium. When the millennium starts, satan will be out of business and not able to deceive anyone for the duration of the millennium.

Now for those of you, who believe that Christ will setup His Church on the Earth and reign on the Earth with His Bride, think again. Look at the very last words of this passage. It says that when the thousand years is over, satan will be released. Once again satan will be able to continue his deceptive practices on the Earth for a period of time. Look at what the following verses tell us.

Verse 7-8: And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,

Now if Christ has setup His Church on the Earth and is reigning with His people on the Earth, does it make any sense that He would allow satan to begin again to deceive these same people? Absolutely not, because Christ and His Bride will not be on the Earth for the Millennium, they will be in Heaven.

Now just so you can understand who will be reigning with Christ and who will not, let’s look at another passage.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Verse 5 but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

This passage describes those who are with Christ during the Millennium. These are those who are called the Bride of Christ, the ones who are taken during the rapture and the first resurrection, because they had made themselves ready and had honored the name of Jesus Christ. To honor the name of Jesus Christ means to not deny His name. What! you say, you do not deny His name? How about in baptism? Have you been baptized in His name? If not, you will not take part in that rapture and first resurrection. Your part will be in the second resurrection and the great White Throne judgment. As verse six tells us, those believers who are taken in the rapture and the first resurrection will not have to face the great White Throne Judgment and because of this, as the verse tells us, “the second death has no power over them.”

Verse 6 Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power,

Now there are many that believe this constitutes the end of the World, but it does not. There are still people left on the Earth during the Millennium, both believers and unbelievers. Life will continue to go on for another one thousand years before the end comes. You might ask, why are there still believers on the Earth and why did Christ not take them in the First Resurrection and the rapture? The obvious answer is, they had not made themselves ready to be a part of the Bride of Christ and the door was shut before they could become ready. I won’t quote the relevant passage of verses here, but read them for yourself in Matthew chapter twenty five, verses one through twelve and it gives you a picture of who were taken and who were left.

Now just to give you some insight into why and how satan will lose his deceptive power at the beginning of the First Resurrection and the rapture, here is why. When the first Resurrection and the rapture occurs and the people on the Earth see those who are taken, those who are changed into immortal bodies and rise up to meet Christ in the air, those left behind will feel much disappointment. They will begin to question as to why they all were not taken and realize that their Bible teachers have taught them in error all their lives. Then those who are left on the Earth will begin to seek the truth of God’s Word and turn away from their false preachers and most of the churches will cease to exist. Unfortunately, those who are left behind are destined to face the final judgment and unless they accept God’s Word and the gospel of Christ, the second death might be in their future.

Now those who are left on the Earth will have a second chance for salvation. This will be after the second resurrection when they stand before the Great White Throne Judgment. These will be judged on how they live their lives and honor the name of Jesus Christ during the next thousand years.

What you have been reading are the results that occur and the penalties for allowing satan to deceive you about God’s Word being true by believing so many false preachers who taught in error and have misled so many.

Now back to the main point about the deception of satan. Satan has set forth to deceive all the people of the Earth by getting them to not believe that God’s Word is true. Satan does this in many different ways. I can show you many examples of this throughout the Bible, but I will only use a few just to prove my point.

We’ll start at the events that occurred in the Garden of Eden. God told Adam that he was not to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Let’s look at that passage.

Genesis 2:16-17: And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die.

God told Adam that he would die if he ate the fruit of that one tree. So when Eve came along, Adam warned her about it also. Then comes the serpent and convinces Eve that she would not die from eating of the fruit of the tree, that God had not told Adam the truth. Here is what satan told Eve.

Genesis 3:4-5: And the serpent said unto the woman, you shall not surely die: For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

All satan did was to add one word to what God had said. He added the word “not”. Then he convinced Eve that some good would come out of eating the fruit, that she would have her eyes opened and become like God. This is how satan deceives the people of the World by adding to or taking away from God’s Word. He enhances his deception by inspiring others to produce many versions of the Bible in order to confuse people about which is the most accurate. Satan convinces those that God has called to preach, to start preaching before God actually sends them out, now look at this next verse.

Romans 10:15: And how shall they preach, except they are sent?

This verse taken from the Apostle Paul’s writing specifically says that a person should not and can not preach the accurate Word of God unless God sends them out to preach. A person must be called first, then prepared secondly to preach and finally when they are ready, God sends them. The World is full of preachers that have not been sent by God to preach and consequently are teaching in error to the people. Satan has deceived many to believe they should start preaching before knowing for sure that God was sending them.

Another example is with Moses and how satan deceived him to believe that God was ready to use him to deliver his people out of Egypt. Moses obviously believed that he was to be God’s deliverer, but jumped the gun before God was ready and tried to do it by his own power. Moses was so disheartened about failing as the deliverer that he left Egypt and hid out in the mountains until God called and sent him.

Then we come to the Lord’s Apostles. Satan deceived them into believing that the evidence of having received the Holy Spirit was for one to speak in tongues, just because they had spoken in other languages when the Holy Spirit came upon them. Now the false notion that one must speak in tongues as the evidence of having received the Holy Spirit has become a doctrine in many churches.

The final one that I will use for an example is the Translators of the King James Version of the Bible. Although these men were more than able to accurately do a near perfect translation from the original scriptures into English, they allowed satan to deceive them into introducing errors into their work by using the wrong English words in the translation and allowing their own beliefs to influence the translation work.

Well maybe just one more example. Along comes hundreds of years of Bible preachers and teachers, who because of not being prepared well enough, teach the people that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, which has proven not to be. Again a deception of satan convincing many to start preaching before intensively studying the scriptures and comparing them with the original writings. The Bible is not the inerrant Word of God. It does contain errors and man made doctrines. But the Bible does contain the true Word of God which can be determined by intense study and comparison with the original scriptures.

Satan’s goal is to distort the Word of God, prove that it is not true and convince the people of it. He has many preachers who are more than willing to protect their egos and unwilling to admit to the errors being preached in fear of losing their jobs in the church.

Unfortunately, when God sends someone to teach the truth of His Word, they look at the person and his personal flaws, or inability to perform miracles, instead of letting the meaning of the scriptures prove themselves. Satan is responsible for this because of his deceptive tactics. We must depend on the scriptures alone and what they say, instead of the interpretation of some man or woman. Satan can use any man or woman to lead us astray, to teach us in error, but the Word of God remains steadfast and true.

Throughout my entire life, satan has attempted to prevent my exposition of his tactics and the result of them. In every stage of my life, satan has been there to stop me, just as he is trying to prevent every one of you to not believe what I have written. Unless you, the people of the World, open your eyes and take the blinders off, satan will continue to deceive millions more before Christ returns.
My last word to all of you is to not be deceived any longer. Examine what I have been telling you if it is the truth or not and if it is true, then accept what I have written and turn away from the false doctrines that satan has been feeding you with.
