The Four Gospels

The Four Gospels
Of The Bible

What would life be without it?

I love the bible because it was what led me to know that there is a God. The bible gave me the knowledge that God sent His only begotten Son into the World to insure that we could have the opportunity to inherit life eternal because of the sacrifice that His Son provided for us. The bible tells us about the birth, ministry, death and resurrection of God’s Son and the promise that God made to us if we only believe the gospel that Jesus preached.

Christians have nothing to fear from the truth. But since new ideas challenge tradition, they are often mocked or simply dismissed. However, unless man has discovered all of the truth in the Bible, then we should always be open to the possibility that God may, at times, have something new to reveal to us and if He does, it will not contradict established inspired scripture which was written according to the eyewitness testimony of credible witnesses.

The New Testament begins with the four gospel accounts of the ministry of Jesus, the Son of God, the Savior of the World and the Messenger of the New Covenant of God that he has made with all of us.

These four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John join together to tell us about the birth of Jesus the Son of God, his ministry of healings among the people, the miracles that he performed and what he taught us about the Kingdom of God according to those eyewitnesses who were instrumental in having this story written.

For hundreds of years those who studied the bible have attempted to identify those who wrote the four gospels because their identities remained anonymous. Yes, they are presented to us as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, but there is nothing contained within these books that help to verify their identities. Does it matter? Not really, because it is obvious that what was written was the result of the eyewitness testimony of those who were present with Jesus throughout his life here on Earth. No matter who these people who wrote the four gospels were, we owe them a debt of gratitude for what they wrote and passed on to us.

Those men who are credited to have written the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John could very well be the ones who wrote the four gospels. There is nothing in their gospels that could possibly refute that they were the authors except for the one that bears the name of the Apostle John.

The book of John contains an enormous amount of what Jesus taught the people that is not contained in the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke. It is obvious that the person who was instrumental in recording the teaching of Jesus in the book of John must have spent a lot of time listening intently while Jesus spoke, more so than those who wrote Matthew, Mark and Luke did. Where Matthew, Mark and Luke recorded in detail the travels, healings and miracles that Jesus performed, the author of the Book of John concentrated on what Jesus taught.

Unlike the first three gospels, the information contained in the book of John presents something that could lead to the identity of the person who wrote this book. Near the end of this book, the person identified himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved”. This could be a clue as to this author being someone other than the apostle John. (John 21:20-24)

For many years we have been taught that the apostle John was the beloved disciple that wrote the Gospel according to John. Why do they call him the beloved disciple? They call him that because the person who wrote that book said that it was written by “The Disciple whom Jesus loved” and everyone from years ago were made to believe that it was John, but was it?

Now who could this certain disciple be who would think that he was “the disciple whom Jesus loved” more than any other disciple? Well there are even more things that we should consider concerning this person. Let’s see what the scriptures say concerning the Apostle John.

The most credible and complete source of the details about the ministry of Jesus and the words that He spoke, would be the testimony of those disciples who were with him most of the time. It appears that there were three men, who were kind of an inner circle that spent more time with Jesus than anyone else. These men were Peter, James and John who (1) accompanied Jesus to the Mount where He was transfigured before them (Matthew 17:1-2)(Mark 9:2)(Luke 9:28), also (2) to the house of the ruler of the synagogue (Mark 5:37)(Luke 8:51) and (3) to a place in the Garden to pray apart from the others. (Mark 14:32-33)

None of these three events were mentioned in the book of John even though the other gospels reported John being there.

Then there was the commissioning of the twelve apostles by Jesus. John was one of the twelve that was named an apostle in Matthew 10:1-4, Mark 3:14-19 & Luke 6:13-16, but the writer of the fourth gospel didn’t mention this. Maybe the author of the fourth gospel was not one of the twelve.

And finally; The following are some of the discrepancies that appear between the fourth gospel that bears John’s name and the other three gospel accounts by Matthew, Mark and Luke:

John 1:35-37 Said that two of John the Baptist’s disciples were the first to follow Jesus. The other gospel writers of Matthew, Mark and Luke refute that. Matt 4:18-22) ( Mark 1:16-20) ( Luke 5:1-11)

John 2:1-12 Said that Jesus turned the water into wine. The other three gospel writers never mentioned it even though more of Jesus’ disciples were present at the marriage.

John 3:1-21 Said a man by the name of Nicodemus visited Jesus at night to question Him. This was not mentioned by the other gospel writers. Could it be because Jesus' twelve disciples were already asleep and another disciple who wrote this was still awake? The author of the fourth gospel, “the disciple whom Jesus loved”.

John 4:1-26 Said that Jesus spoke to a woman at the well, but this was not mentioned in the other three gospels. Could it have been because Jesus' twelve disciples were not present, but the writer of the fourth gospel, “The Disciple whom Jesus loved” was and recorded this account?

John 11:37-44 Said that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Even though it states that other disciples were present, this was not mentioned in the other gospels. Were the twelve disciples not there, or were not paying attention? The only person who recorded the raising of Lazarus was “the disciple whom Jesus loved”, the person who wrote the fourth gospel.

John 13:1-20 Speaks of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples, but this was not mentioned happening in the other gospels.

Not mentioned in the gospel known by John’s name was when Jesus calmed the storm by speaking to it. The other Gospels all speak of this great event, but maybe the writer of the fourth gospel was not present at that time. Could this be because the writer of the fourth gospel, “the disciple whom Jesus loved, was not one of the twelve on the boat?

Not mentioned in the Gospel by John’s name is when Jesus sent out his 12 disciples to preach in the cities. Since John was one of the twelve and he was credited to be the author of the fourth gospel, why wasn't it mentioned in this gospel account? Could it be that the true writer of the fourth gospel “the disciple whom Jesus loved” was not one of the twelve?

What I would like to present to you now is that the “disciple whom Jesus loved”, the author of the fourth gospel that bears John’s name was a disciple of Jesus, but was not one of the twelve.

In order to present to you the possibility of another disciple of Jesus, it is necessary to start at the foot of the cross just after Jesus was crucified and see who was there.

 1. The gospel of Matthew describes the witnesses of the crucifixion as being many women who had followed him during his ministry( Matt 27:55-56). Nothing is said about his apostles who were hiding behind closed doors for fear of the Jews (John 20:19)

 2. The gospel of Mark describes the witnesses as being many women who followed and ministered to him from Galilee. ( Mark 15:40-41) Again there was no mention of any of the Lord’s apostles being present.

 3. The gospel of Luke describes the witnesses as many women being present watching. (Luke 23:48-49)

 4. The gospel of John also spoke of certain women being present watching. (John 19:25)

Take note here that Jesus spoke to the disciple who wrote the gospel of John, “the disciple whom Jesus loved” and made provision for his mother’s future well being. ( John 19:26-27)

Since there were only women present, as was described in all four gospels, it appears to indicate that the “disciple whom Jesus loved” and the writer of the fourth gospel was one of the women who was there.

Now allow me to make a case as to who it could have been in order to identify “the disciple whom Jesus loved”.

On one of his ministry journeys, Jesus traveled to a place known as Magdala (Matt 15:39) on the Sea of Galilee. This is where he met a woman who was living in the area by the name of Mary, who became known as Mary Magdalene. Jesus healed this woman of her infirmities by casting out of her seven devils. (Luke 8:2) (Mark 16:9)

This Mary Magdalene began to follow Jesus during his ministry travels as one of his disciples (Matt 27:55). No, I’m not saying that she was one of the twelve disciples that Jesus personally called to join him in his ministry. Any person who follows the teaching of another person for learning is a disciple or the same as a pupil. Jesus had many disciples during his earthly ministry and still does today. Take for instance one named Joseph of Arimathaea who the scripture calls a disciple (Matt 27:57)(John 19:38).

We find out later in the scriptures that this Mary Magdalene was the Daughter of one Simon the leper, a Pharisee who Jesus also healed (Matt 8:2-3) & (Mark 1:40-41). Mary also had a Sister named Martha and a brother named Lazarus who lived in Bethany with their Father (Mark 14:3) (Luke 10:38-42)(John 11:1). It was in the house of Simon where Mary Magdalene anointed Jesus with precious ointment while sitting by him listening to him talk while she washed Jesus feet, wiped them with her hair and kissed his feet (Luke 10:39)(John 12:3-4) (Luke 7:37-47)

After the trial of Jesus, when they took him to the place where he was to be crucified, many of the women followed them to the place. Among these women were Mary the Mother of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. (Matt 27:56) (Mark 15:40-41)

While standing at the cross where Jesus was crucified, Jesus spoke to his mother and said: “Woman, behold your Son”. Then Jesus spoke to the disciple “who he loved” and said: “Behold your Mother”. (John 19:6-27) Then this disciple “who Jesus loved” took his mother to live with them.

A note needs to be made here at this point that all of Jesus’ apostles were shut up in a place for safety because they feared that the Jews would come after them. (John 20:19) In none of the gospel accounts was it said that any of Jesus’ male disciples were present at the cross. Only the women who followed Jesus, the female disciples were there. When Jesus spoke to the disciple that was identified as “the disciple who Jesus lovedit must have been one of the female disciples, it must have been the faithful Mary Magdalene who took the Mother of Jesus into her house.

When Jesus’ body was taken to the tomb, who was it that followed them there? For one, it was Mary Magdalene (Matt 27:61) (Mark 15:47) & (Luke 23:55).

On the first day of the week, who went to the tomb to prepare Jesus’ body? Again it was Mary Magdalene (Matt 28:1) (Mark 16:1) (Luke 24:1-10) (John 20:1)

After the resurrection of Jesus, who did he appear to first? None other than Mary Magdalene. ( Matt 28:9) (Mark 16:9) (John 20:18)

Who was it that went and told Jesus’ disciples about his being risen? Again it was Mary Magdalene. (Matt 28:1-8)

Could it be possible that Mary Magdalene was “the disciple that Jesus loved” more than any of the other disciples? Here was Mary Magdalene who was healed by Jesus of much infirmity and freed from being possessed by many demons. Here is a woman that could be very grateful of Jesus changing her life so dramatically. Even her own Father, the Pharisee Simon the leper questioned that if Jesus was a prophet he would have prevented  such a woman that was a sinner to touch him (Luke 7:39). What did Jesus have to say to Simon about that? Jesus said that this woman has washed my feet with her tears and wiped them with the hairs of her head. He said this woman has not ceased to kiss my feet since I arrived in your house. This woman has anointed my feet with ointment constantly. Jesus said that she has loved him much and much has been forgiven of her. (Luke 7:44-47) All of this would show the love that Mary Magdalene had for Jesus, so wouldn’t he love her very much for the honor and love she has expressed to him?

If you can believe the account of the last supper in John’s gospel about a disciple leaning on Jesus’ breast, it could have been Mary Magdalene. (John 13:23) Of course this was not recorded in the other three gospels, especially so if the one in question was a woman. There was recorded in scripture that the twelve apostles sat down with Jesus for the last supper, but it doesn’t specifically say that only the twelve were there. How about all the others that followed Jesus during his travels? Do you think they would have been left outside while the supper was in progress?

Well there it is. Just a possibility. Not one that I can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, but neither can anyone prove that the Apostle John was the author of the fourth gospel. I can venture a guess though that back in the second or third century someone recognized the value of this gospel, but knew that a woman author would not have been accepted in the male dominated society that it was, so they attached the apostle John’s name to it in order to make it acceptable to the church.

Just a possibility as I have said.

How does it sound as Matthew, Mark, Luke and Mary?

Be Certain And Don’t Be Sorry

The deceiver is at work today!

This article was posted some time ago, but I believed that it should be considered very important to add something to it for everyone to urgently consider in this late hour in which we are living. I felt that it was important to emphasize what we all are facing today which is the deception that is being carried out by our adversary the devil.
Everyone needs to consider this person we know as the devil and understand that he is not some slouch who is completely limited in the things that he is capable of doing. This devil that we know of as satan was created in the beginning by God and was given the name of Lucifer. This Lucifer obtained high honor from God in the beginning as a Cherub having God’s trust so much that he was designated to be in a position just below God and above all the other creatures in Heaven including the angels. This person was given the power from God to be the Heavenly defender and protector of the Throne of God and obtained the favor of God before he fell from his trusted position.

Lucifer couldn’t be satisfied with being the number two person in Heaven because his ambition was to rise even higher and become as God himself and could have because of the power and authority that God bestowed upon him. Because of his attempt to usurp the position of God he was cast out of Heaven and exiled down to the Earth which God had created. This became apparent when he appeared on Earth in the Garden of Eden and deceived the woman Eve, saying that God’s word was not true and caused her to eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree.
Since that time, Lucifer, or satan as we know him has been in residence on the Earth continuing to oppose God by attempting to deceive as many people as he possibly can. As I said before, even though the devil is inferior to God, he is no slouch and has the power and ability to do many things because of the attributes that God has given him. Although satan does have limits on what he can do such as not being able to take someone’s life like in the case of Job and does not have the ability to heal as Jesus stated, also he is capable of doing supernatural signs and wonders like what was described in Revelations chapter thirteen.
So you should keep in mind those things that the devil is capable of doing as you continue to read this article and accept the fact that you can only be certain that what you are taught by any preacher must be verified by those scriptures and what they actually say.

Before I get into the subject matter of this message, I want to tell you a little about what my commission was from God. When He first called me into the ministry it was to carry a message to the preachers all over the World. Thus I introduced myself as God’s Messenger. After ministering to thousands of ministers it became obvious that the message about the bible and the truth of God’s word was not going to be accepted by them. Some just outright rejected it and some admitted that since they had been preaching a certain way for many years, they would probably lose their positions in the church if they admitted to being wrong and start teaching something new.

Just as Jesus and His message was rejected by the religious leaders of His day, that same message has been rejected by the church leaders of today. So God put me on another course by taking my messages directly to the people who had been taught so very long by false teachers of God’s word in their churches.

The problem that I have is that I am not a very good teacher. My preparation was to preach to other preachers who should have been as familiar with the bible as I am. Now it is a little different and I am preaching to ordinary people who on the average are not well versed in the scriptures and find myself assuming that they are understanding about what I am saying to them, consequently at times I find myself somewhat glossing over some details of the scriptures and not completely getting my point across.

So as I get into this subject matter I will try to explain my message in a little more detail and supply bible verses as needed so that everyone can follow with me a little better.

The subject of this message is to “Be certain of your chance of Salvation and not to be sorry by missing the chance of securing it”. Some of you have been taught and do believe in your heart that you are in fact saved now, but that might not be entirely the truth. For Jesus said as is recorded in Matthew 24:13 “
They that shall endure until the end shall be saved”. So in whatever state of belief that you are in, if your belief is in accordance with God’s plan of salvation and you maintain that belief until the end, you will be saved.

Now God’s plan of salvation for every person is built upon the adherence to following His commandments and believing the gospel of Christ that He has passed on to us. There are certain things that we need to know in order to adhere to God’s plan so that we can take the steps to secure the salvation that He has offered to us. The first thing that must be taken into account has to do with the Spirit of God, which we call the Holy Spirit and the necessity of receiving His Spirit into our heart.
God spoke through the prophet Joel saying that He would pour out His Spirit upon all people (Joel 2:28), and was quoted by the Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost as he preached to the people in Jerusalem (Acts 2:17). But we find out that it was conditional on our part to receive God’s Spirit. It would only happen if we adhered to following the commandment of the Apostle Peter who was given the authority to issue that commandment (Matthew 16:19). The Apostle Peter’s commandment to the people was to “repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and you shall receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) Now unless we follow this commandment of Peter’s we will not receive God’s Spirit that is available to us.

The first part of Peter’s commandment was that we must repent. Now we all know that it is preached in all the churches that this means we must repent of all our sins. To repent in this context means that we should have a change of mind about our belief and turn from our unbelief to a belief in the Gospel of Christ. Our salvation depends upon our belief in the truth of the Gospel. Just as Jesus said in Mark 1:15, “
repent and believe the Gospel”. Again in context, Jesus said to repent of our sin of unbelief, have a change of mind from our unbelief and believe the truth of the Gospel. After all, it is the sin of unbelief in the true Gospel that will keep us from being saved. (John 16:9)(Galatians 3:22)
Now it is necessary for us to have a correct understanding of what the Gospel is. In the book of John 3:16 it gives us the Gospel in a nutshell. It says that God sent His Son to the Earth to secure our future salvation and if we would believe in Jesus being the Son of God, we would inherit eternal life. This fact is reinforced by the words spoken by Jesus and the Apostle Peter which is recorded in Matthew 16:15 thru 18. In these verses Peter confessed to Jesus that He was the Christ, the Son of the living God and Jesus verified that Peter’s statement was the truth. The revelation of the fact that Jesus was the Son of God is the foundation that Jesus would build His church on. If Jesus was not believed to be the Son of God, the church wouldn’t be built upon the right foundation. Some teach that the church is built upon revelation. In itself that is not true, unless you believe that the revelation that Peter received was the revelation that the church was built on.(Matthew 16:17)
Once you repent of the sin of unbelief and believe the Gospel and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ then you will receive the promise of the Father, the receiving of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible tells us that you will become a member of the Body of Christ when you are baptized and have received the Holy Spirit. (John 3:5)(1 Corinthians 12:13) Only those who are members of the Body of Christ will be received at the second coming of Christ. Those believers that will be carried off to be with Christ will not be in danger of the second death which immediately follows the final judgment of God. (Revelations 20:6)(Revelations 20:14-15)

The bible tells us that “it is appointed for all people to die once and after that comes the Judgment”. (Hebrews 9:27) But there is an exception to this which was provided by Jesus Christ as He said:
whoever believes in me shall never die. (John 11:26) At His second coming when He receives those who are in the Body, He has provided the only Judgment that will take place for them. When the day of God’s great judgment comes, Jesus will stand in place of those who are in His Body because He will already have judged them worthy of eternal life. Jesus meant by His statement of never dying was speaking of the second death and not the death of our flesh bodies.

Now can you say without any reservation that you will receive salvation unto eternal life if you have obeyed the commandments of God and have endured and kept the faith unto the end? Have you repented of the sin of unbelief and believed the gospel of Christ that Jesus was the Son of God? Have you been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ? If you can truly testify that you have done these things, then you have received the Holy Spirit and have become a member of the Body of Christ.

If you have failed to adhere to the instructions given to us by God, especially concerning His only begotten Son, then you will surely face the final White Throne Judgment of God and will be judged according to your works that you have done while in your flesh body.(Revelations 20:11 thru 13)
Take heed that you believe what the scriptures say according to God’s word and receive the promise of the Father. You must reject the misinterpretations of scripture that man has taught which have paved the road to hell and the second death which will be your eternal destination. The bible tells us that there will be those of us who will be disillusioned by signs and lying wonders and will believe a lie and be damned because of it. (Thessalonians 2:9-11) If you were one of them, repent and believe the Gospel according to the scriptures.
Don’t forget what I said at the beginning of this article. According to the Bible, Lucifer, satan, the devil was second in command under God Himself in the beginning of creation. God put him in that position and gave him whatever power he has. According to the Bible, satan can do signs and wonders. He can make fire come down out of heaven in the sight of men, even over a River baptismal scene. He can visit man in the form of an angel of light according to the bible and make false claims about giving someone a gift of divine healing. He can speak to man with an audible voice and mislead him about Jehovah of the Old Testament being Jesus of the New Testament. Satan has the power and ability to know the thoughts and intents of someone’s mind and cause a light to strike the negative film in a way that can cause deception in a picture.

Supernatural signs and wonders cannot be trusted to be from God without the vindication of the truth by the written scriptures being taught. Any man can be used by God and Satan to work miracles, but when deviation from scriptural truth occurs,
God is not in it.

If Jesus Christ will stand with you at the end, will you stand with Him or someone else in your life here on Earth? You alone are in charge of your destiny, because you have been given a free will to believe the gospel and be saved or believe some false preacher and spend eternity in hell. (Revelations 21:15)

Facts of the Faith

The Facts of the Faith, are you listening or in a state of dying and not aware of it?

It’s time for all of us to put behind us all of the interpretations of scripture that we have heard and face the facts about Jesus in the literal way the scriptures explain them to us.

First of all Jesus didn’t begin His life when He was born of Mary in Bethlehem. Jesus was in Heaven with His Father Jehovah our God. God sent Him to the Earth to serve the purpose that God wanted to happen. Jesus existed in Heaven as a created being, one of the Sons of God that was spoken of in the book of Job. (Job 38:7) He existed in a glorified body with His Father who chose Jesus to be the one to accomplish His work on Earth and sent Him to the Earth. (John 8:42)

Now Jesus was, as the scripture states without sin. He was not without sin because that He never committed sin on the Earth, even though He didn’t. He was without sin because sin is unbelief and Jesus had no unbelief because what He knew about God was true and He remembered His role in Heaven even after He was born on the Earth. Jesus clearly said that He came from the Father in Heaven and was going to return there.(John 7:33

When Jesus began His ministry He was a mortal man and when He was baptized the Father sent His own Spirit to indwell Jesus. This is the same Spirit that we other mortals receive, but there is a little difference between how Jesus received it and how we receive it. Jesus was without the sin of unbelief because He retained the memory of being in Heaven with His Father and received the Spirit of God without measure.(John 3:34) We as mortal human beings do not have the level of belief that Jesus had. Yes I know that we say we believe and say our faith is great, but we don’t have the degree of belief that Jesus had. What we call faith and belief is more on the order of hope rather than faith. Until we attain to the level of belief that Jesus had, if we ever can, the measure of God’s Spirit that we have will be based upon an increased knowledge of the truth of God’s Word, attainable only by our experience with God and seeing what He causes to come to pass before our eyes. This is because we are mortal and can only see clearly what our mortal eyes view. (1 Cor 12:11)

What did Jesus say about faith to His disciples? He said: “If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could speak and move a mountain”. (Matt 17:20) So what does that say about our faith? Do we really have faith without doubting? A preacher by the name of William Branham once said: “I believe before the church can have the rapture, it’s got to have rapturing faith”. What will it take for our faith to increase and our doubts to cease? It will take a unquestionable experience with God, seeing God make something happen that only God could have done it. Something like a light fading out in a certain picture all over the World that God has revealed to a certain person would happen.

Now there is a common teaching among a number of churches that Jesus is actually God who came to the Earth in the flesh. If what they believe is true then Jesus is not the Son of God because He can’t be God the Father and Jesus His Son at the same time. There are a number of scriptures in the four gospel accounts that are used by those who believe that Jesus was actually God Himself. Most of these scriptures are written in such a manner that they could be interpreted to support their belief if anyone was inclined to use them for that purpose. In contrast, there are some scriptures that do not need any interpretation and prove beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus and God are two separate beings.

The most pronounced are the following:

When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, a voice came from Heaven and said: “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased”.(Matt 3:17) (Mark 1:11)(Luke 3:22)

Then at one time Jesus went up onto a mountain with Peter, James and John and while they were there a voice spoke out of a cloud that overshadowed them and said: “This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear ye him”.(Matt 17:5), (Mark 9:7), (Luke 9:35), (2 Peter 1:17)

Now that should make it clear that if Jesus was standing on the ground in front of witnesses in both of these cases, and the voice came from above speaking about His Son, it proves that God and Jesus are not the same person.

There was one person that gave an analogy about God and Jesus being one and the same person that went like this: “If the Ocean is God and you dipped a glass into the Ocean and filled the glass, it would be that God would be both in the Ocean and in the glass”. Well I do agree with that, but that doesn’t make the glass God, it is still a glass with God in it. Just like when Jesus received the Holy Spirit of God at His baptism, He received God, which is the Holy Spirit into His body. Now that didn’t make Him God, He was still the man Jesus with God in Him. Jesus said many times that it was not Him that did the supernatural works, it was God who was in Him that did the works.(John 14:10)

Another analogy that was made goes like this: “God can be a Father and a Son at the same time, just like I am a father to my son and I am a son to my father. That makes me a father and a son at the same time”. That might make any man a father and a son at the same time, but it doesn’t make any man his own father or his own son.  That analogy belongs in grade school.

Then there are those who quote John 10:30 and say that it proves that Jesus and God are the same person, well let’s look at it.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

The thought that comes to me about this is what the scripture says about a man marrying a woman and the two becoming one.(Matt 19:5-6) Now to become one means that they are united and have become one with the same purpose in God’s eyes, but they are still two separate persons, just like Jesus and His Heavenly Father are one, united in the same cause, but are still two separate persons. This is just one example how two different people can interpret this verse two different ways.

Let’s look at what happened in the upper room to the Apostles on the day of Pentecost. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Did that make the Apostles God? Absolutely not! They were still individual men filled with the Spirit of God and united as one with the same purpose just as God and Jesus were united as one. How about any of you reading this, if you have received the Holy Spirit are you God? How can so many people be without understanding of spiritual things?

Look at another scripture that can’t be disputed. Look at John 7:28-29 as follows:

I have not come of myself, but He that sent me is true, whom you know not. But I know Him for I am from Him and He has sent me”.

This and many more verses make it very clear that Jesus did not send Himself because He is not God the Father. He said that the Father who is in Heaven had sent Him. Then in verse 33, Jesus said that He was to return to the Father that sent Him.

There is another verse that many use to attempt to prove that Jesus is God. It was the words that Thomas spoke when he checked Jesus’ body for the marks that He received at His crucifixion. Thomas spoke saying: “my Lord and my God”. And they try to use this to prove their case about Jesus being God. Well Thomas may have believed that Jesus was God, but that didn’t make it so. Thomas was more like an unbeliever that Jesus was not the Messiah, the Son of God until that event occurred. On the occasion when Jesus was going to raise Lazarus, Thomas being an unbeliever as to who Jesus was said: “Let us also go, that we may die with Him”.(John 11:16)  Again there was another incident when Thomas displayed his unbelief in Jesus when the other Apostles told him about having seen Jesus and Thomas told then that he would not believe unless he saw physical proof that Jesus was alive. (John 20: 24-25) So without a doubt Thomas was overwhelmed when Jesus appeared to him and may have thought to himself that only God could have appeared to them in that manner. There were eleven Apostles there at the time and none of the others said anything to substantiate Thomas’ claim at that time or ever that Jesus was God. Remember the scripture: “By the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established”.

In John 14:9 there is another quote of Jesus that is also used. Let’s look at what Jesus said.

“He that has seen me has seen the Father”.

But what if we use another statement by Jesus to make this statement more a reality and better understandable. Look at what Jesus said in John 12:45:

“He that sees me, sees Him that sent me

Both of these two sayings are made clear by a third one which says:

John 14:10 The Father that dwells in me does the works.

So can you see what Jesus is telling them? Not that He was the Father, but that the works being done showed them that the Father was present in Him doing the works. If they saw God’s works being performed and were watching Jesus they could see the Father because of and by the works.

Look throughout the scriptures at the many times when Jesus said the Father has sent me and the Father that is in me does the works and I came from the Father and will return to Him and my Father is greater than I am and only the Father knows the time of my return, the day or the hour and the Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand and on and on the evidence being given to you in the scriptures proves that Jesus is not God, that He is the Son of God, but because of your stubbornness you will not accept the truth.

Why is it so hard for anyone to see the truth? Jesus is asking you all right from the scriptures: “Do you now believe? How many of you have been taught by your churches, by your denominations, by a preacher who shows you a picture with a light above his head that Jesus is God? This doctrine started back in 325AD by the Catholic Church and has been adopted by so many throughout the years even against what the scriptures clearly prove to us all.

Why has all of this false teaching prevailed? It’s very simple, satan has promoted all of this by one of the biggest lies that he has been able to get people to believe in order to get even with God for rejecting him and casting him out of Heaven. Everyone has been asleep in their pews and allowing their preachers to get away with convincing everyone something that is not true and none of you have the courage to challenge them with the truth that the scriptures present to you.

Finally Thomas did become a believer because he saw a physical sign, but Jesus said: “blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed”.  If anyone looks for and needs a supernatural sign in order to believe the truth, you just might believe the signs and miss the truth that God has sent to us in the scriptures. Have you heard about healings being performed, miracles happening, prophecies being made and coming true? Have you witnessed these yourself or have you just believed what someone else has told you that they have happened? Then why do you not believe what God has told you by way of the Holy scriptures? Shouldn’t God’s word be more believable than any man’s word?

The devil has put you in jeopardy of losing your chance at eternal life by getting you to believe that Jesus was not the Son of God as the Gospel has stated, but was really God Himself that came in the flesh and has deceived you into believing something contrary to the scriptures.

Now I have a word for all of you that belong to these large organized denominational churches where all you hear preached is a social gospel. Almost all you hear from your pulpits is how to live your life on Earth and how to get along in your everyday lives. This might very well be good for your lives on Earth, but it won’t get you into Heaven when the Lord returns for His church. You sit in your pews listening to a lecture from a person that you believe God has called into the ministry, but more than likely you never hear the meat of the Gospel and the truth from the Bible that is necessary to get you saved. You believe everything that your preacher says without ever holding him to the truth of God’s Word by getting to know the scriptures for yourself and challenging him when you don’t agree with what he is preaching. One day the Lord will return when the time comes and you’ll wonder why you are still sitting in your same pews and have been left behind. Then what are you going to do?

This is a word that I have for a special group of people that claim to be “Message of the Hour” believers. You have vowed in your heart to believe what you have been taught about depending upon a revelation to understand God’s Word instead of believing what the scriptures say. You have set a man up as a prophet that was not a Prophet sent by God and display and worship a picture of him with what you believe is a supernatural light appearing above his head. You are using that picture as an idol to remember everything that you were told about his ministry by those who had their own agenda and you believed everything they said even though it didn’t agree with Bible Scripture.

If you believe that Jesus was God and not the Son of God, then you cannot profess a belief in the Gospel that God sent His only begotten Son to the Earth to provide a way to save us from our sin. That is a non scriptural belief that will keep you out of Heaven.

God will give you a sign that what I have presented to you is the truth. I hope that He does that before your life ends on this Earth. If it doesn’t, you will miss the second coming of Christ and the rapture of His church and the only chance you’ll have in inheriting eternal life is in the Great White Throne Judgment where you’ll be judged by what you have done in this physical life.

Repent of your unbelief in the Gospel of Christ and believe that God’s Word is true, be baptized in Jesus’ Name and you will receive the Holy Spirit of God which will prepare you to be accepted by Christ when He returns for His church.

I have presented the facts of the true faith to you. Will you now believe or will you die in your sin because of unbelief in the Word of God?

The Last Word

To those of you who believe they are in the Body of Christ
And on behalf of Jehovah, who is the Father of the only begotten

Son of God, this is proclaimed.

This is the Holy Bible. It’s called Holy because it was written by Holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit and have declared that it is of no private interpretation. This is a letter from God and our link to God and without the written word contained therein, we would not have known God.

So I have delivered unto you that which I have received, which is the Word of God from the Bible and the truth about the false doctrines that have been taught because of interpretation errors from those the devil has deceived into thinking was the truth.

Since the time of the early church, those truths contained in God’s letter to us have been misconstrued to say and mean other than what God originally intended for us to receive because of the influence and deception of satan. God has from the beginning desired to have us believe the truth of His Word and satan has attempted to cause us to disbelieve it.

I have preached about all of the truth that I know about. I have held to what is written in the Bible without any compromise against enormous odds which I have encountered. I have been given many revelations about the truth of God’s Word. I have seen signs that I believe could only have come from God. I have heard God speak to me through the human mouth, both through me and other persons that I cannot deny was from Him. I have spoken about things from Genesis to Revelations as they were written by men who were inspired by God to write and have believed all that I have read because I believe it was all from the mouth of God.

If I have been judged to be wrong in my teaching, then the Bible is wrong because I have spoken where the scriptures have spoken. If the Bible is wrong then you must judge that God is wrong or has deceived mankind because of what He has inspired Holy men of God to write. But we all know that God is not and cannot be wrong, thus the Bible cannot be wrong either.

We must see to it that we don’t refuse to believe His Words, for in times past those who refused to obey Him who spoke on the Earth didn’t escape His wrath, then we who are alive today shall not inherit so great a salvation if we fail to accept what He says when He speaks to us from Heaven.

Nothing more needs to be said by man on Earth that hasn’t already been said about the truth of God’s Word, so now when He speaks to us from Heaven:

God will have the last Word

The Only Way

Want to make Heaven your Home?
There is only one way to achieve that.

There is only one way to obtain eternal life and make Heaven your home forever. That way is just as Jesus said: “those who believe the Gospel and are baptized will be saved”.(Mark 16:15-16)

Jesus started His ministry on Earth preaching the Gospel to the people of Israel to whom God the Father sent Him to. That Gospel was the “Good News” that the people no longer were required to follow the Mosaic Law because God had sent His only begotten Son to the Earth to shed His blood and atone for the sins of mankind and all who would believe that to be the truth would be saved and inherit eternal life.

From the beginning of time when Adam and Eve sinned against God there was a requirement that the blood of an innocent animal had to be shed to atone for the sins of a person. This was a requirement that had to be done every year because the shedding of an animal’s blood would suffice for only one year. Since God saw that it was not possible for the Israelites to completely obey the Laws that were given to them under the First Covenant of God they received, God made a change and brought about a New Covenant for the people. Under the New Covenant, it was only necessary for the people to believe that God had sent His Son Jesus Christ to fulfill the innocent blood sacrifice one time for all people to last forever. That was the “Good News”, this was the Gospel that was necessary for the people to believe.

Most of the Christian church world has the belief that Jesus was actually God in the flesh, that God made Himself a body in order to minister to the people on the Earth.

That belief is not consistent with the Gospel that Jesus preached.

Unless a person believes that Jesus was the Son of God and not God himself, they are believing a different Gospel than what Jesus preached and a different Gospel than what the Lord’s Apostles preached.

Paul the Apostle said that even if an angel from heaven came preaching some other gospel than the gospel of the bible we should not believe it.

Unless a person believes the Gospel that Jesus preached, their belief does not conform to what Jesus said in Mark 16:15-16 and they will not receive their salvation.

Now that’s not my words, that is according to scripture, that is Thus Saith the Lord and not some man’s interpretation. It is not my place to judge any person, I’m just quoting Bible scripture and it will be the word of God in the scriptures that will judge each person whether they believe the Gospel of His Son or not.

  It’s All About Jesus and

 Jesus Said:

“If you stay in my word then you are my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”. “If you love me you will keep my words and my Father will love you and will come unto you and make His abode with you”.

The words of Jesus which the Father gave Him to speak are:

According to Matthew, Mark and Luke

 1. I came down from Heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

2. Whoever shall confess me before men, they will I confess before my Father who is in Heaven and whoever denies me before men, they will I also deny before my Father who is in Heaven.

3. Jesus stated that he was sent by the Father to the Nation of Israel only, not to the Gentile Nations.

4. Jesus admitted to Peter that He was the Son of God.

5. Jesus said that the little children have angels in heaven that stand before His Father that is in heaven.

6. Jesus made the statement that not Himself or any other man is good except God.

7. Jesus said that it was not up to Him to decide who would sit on His right or left hand in Heaven, but the Father’s decision.

8. Jesus said that at the time of the end, many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. (This is happening now)

9. Jesus said that many false Christ’s and false prophets shall show great signs and wonders in the end time. (This has happened)

10. Jesus said that only God the Father knew the day or the hour of His return.

11. Jesus in prayer asked His Father if it was possible to let the cup pass from Him.

12. Jesus told His disciples that He could pray to the Father and the Father could send more than twelve legions of angels to help Him.

13. On the cross Jesus said to the Father: “my God why have you forsaken me?”

14. After the resurrection, Jesus said that all power in Heaven and Earth had been given to Him (by the Father).

15. Jesus admitted to the high priest that questioned Him that He was the Christ, the Son of God.

16. The book of Mark starts off stating that it is the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

17. The book of Matthew starts off saying that Jesus Christ was the Son of David, making Jesus in the bloodline of David.

18. The angel Gabriel told Mary that God will give Jesus the throne of His Father David.

19. When Jesus was in Capernaum casting out devils, the devils confessed that Jesus was the Son of God. (Devils confessed it but now most people deny it)

20. Jesus said: “Blessed are they who hear the Word of God and keep it”.

These quotes should make it clear that Jesus and God the Father were not the same person. They were and still are two different beings.

Yes, it’s all about Jesus and the Gospel that He preached.
Jesus said that He was the way and no one could go to the Father except by Him.
Will you now believe the Gospel and receive the promise of
 Eternal Life?
