Want to make Heaven your Home?
There is only one way to achieve that.
There is only one way to obtain eternal life and make Heaven your home forever. That way is just as Jesus said: “those who believe the Gospel and are baptized will be saved”.(Mark 16:15-16)
Jesus started His ministry on Earth preaching the Gospel to the people of Israel to whom God the Father sent Him to. That Gospel was the “Good News” that the people no longer were required to follow the Mosaic Law because God had sent His only begotten Son to the Earth to shed His blood and atone for the sins of mankind and all who would believe that to be the truth would be saved and inherit eternal life.
From the beginning of time when Adam and Eve sinned against God there was a requirement that the blood of an innocent animal had to be shed to atone for the sins of a person. This was a requirement that had to be done every year because the shedding of an animal’s blood would suffice for only one year. Since God saw that it was not possible for the Israelites to completely obey the Laws that were given to them under the First Covenant of God they received, God made a change and brought about a New Covenant for the people. Under the New Covenant, it was only necessary for the people to believe that God had sent His Son Jesus Christ to fulfill the innocent blood sacrifice one time for all people to last forever. That was the “Good News”, this was the Gospel that was necessary for the people to believe.
Most of the Christian church world has the belief that Jesus was actually God in the flesh, that God made Himself a body in order to minister to the people on the Earth.
That belief is not consistent with the Gospel that Jesus preached.
Unless a person believes that Jesus was the Son of God and not God himself, they are believing a different Gospel than what Jesus preached and a different Gospel than what the Lord’s Apostles preached.
It’s All About Jesus and
“If you stay in my word then you are my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”. “If you love me you will keep my words and my Father will love you and will come unto you and make His abode with you”.
According to Matthew, Mark and Luke
2. Whoever shall confess me before men, they will I confess before my Father who is in Heaven and whoever denies me before men, they will I also deny before my Father who is in Heaven.
3. Jesus stated that he was sent by the Father to the Nation of Israel only, not to the Gentile Nations.
4. Jesus admitted to Peter that He was the Son of God.
5. Jesus said that the little children have angels in heaven that stand before His Father that is in heaven.
6. Jesus made the statement that not Himself or any other man is good except God.
7. Jesus said that it was not up to Him to decide who would sit on His right or left hand in Heaven, but the Father’s decision.
8. Jesus said that at the time of the end, many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. (This is happening now)
9. Jesus said that many false Christ’s and false prophets shall show great signs and wonders in the end time. (This has happened)
10. Jesus said that only God the Father knew the day or the hour of His return.
11. Jesus in prayer asked His Father if it was possible to let the cup pass from Him.
12. Jesus told His disciples that He could pray to the Father and the Father could send more than twelve legions of angels to help Him.
13. On the cross Jesus said to the Father: “my God why have you forsaken me?”
14. After the resurrection, Jesus said that all power in Heaven and Earth had been given to Him (by the Father).
15. Jesus admitted to the high priest that questioned Him that He was the Christ, the Son of God.
16. The book of Mark starts off stating that it is the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
17. The book of Matthew starts off saying that Jesus Christ was the Son of David, making Jesus in the bloodline of David.
18. The angel Gabriel told Mary that God will give Jesus the throne of His Father David.
19. When Jesus was in Capernaum casting out devils, the devils confessed that Jesus was the Son of God. (Devils confessed it but now most people deny it)
20. Jesus said: “Blessed are they who hear the Word of God and keep it”.
These quotes should make it clear that Jesus and God the Father were not the same person. They were and still are two different beings.
Yes, it’s all about Jesus and the Gospel that He preached.
