Be Certain And Don’t Be Sorry

The deceiver is at work today!

This article was posted some time ago, but I believed that it should be considered very important to add something to it for everyone to urgently consider in this late hour in which we are living. I felt that it was important to emphasize what we all are facing today which is the deception that is being carried out by our adversary the devil.
Everyone needs to consider this person we know as the devil and understand that he is not some slouch who is completely limited in the things that he is capable of doing. This devil that we know of as satan was created in the beginning by God and was given the name of Lucifer. This Lucifer obtained high honor from God in the beginning as a Cherub having God’s trust so much that he was designated to be in a position just below God and above all the other creatures in Heaven including the angels. This person was given the power from God to be the Heavenly defender and protector of the Throne of God and obtained the favor of God before he fell from his trusted position.

Lucifer couldn’t be satisfied with being the number two person in Heaven because his ambition was to rise even higher and become as God himself and could have because of the power and authority that God bestowed upon him. Because of his attempt to usurp the position of God he was cast out of Heaven and exiled down to the Earth which God had created. This became apparent when he appeared on Earth in the Garden of Eden and deceived the woman Eve, saying that God’s word was not true and caused her to eat of the fruit of the forbidden tree.
Since that time, Lucifer, or satan as we know him has been in residence on the Earth continuing to oppose God by attempting to deceive as many people as he possibly can. As I said before, even though the devil is inferior to God, he is no slouch and has the power and ability to do many things because of the attributes that God has given him. Although satan does have limits on what he can do such as not being able to take someone’s life like in the case of Job and does not have the ability to heal as Jesus stated, also he is capable of doing supernatural signs and wonders like what was described in Revelations chapter thirteen.
So you should keep in mind those things that the devil is capable of doing as you continue to read this article and accept the fact that you can only be certain that what you are taught by any preacher must be verified by those scriptures and what they actually say.

Before I get into the subject matter of this message, I want to tell you a little about what my commission was from God. When He first called me into the ministry it was to carry a message to the preachers all over the World. Thus I introduced myself as God’s Messenger. After ministering to thousands of ministers it became obvious that the message about the bible and the truth of God’s word was not going to be accepted by them. Some just outright rejected it and some admitted that since they had been preaching a certain way for many years, they would probably lose their positions in the church if they admitted to being wrong and start teaching something new.

Just as Jesus and His message was rejected by the religious leaders of His day, that same message has been rejected by the church leaders of today. So God put me on another course by taking my messages directly to the people who had been taught so very long by false teachers of God’s word in their churches.

The problem that I have is that I am not a very good teacher. My preparation was to preach to other preachers who should have been as familiar with the bible as I am. Now it is a little different and I am preaching to ordinary people who on the average are not well versed in the scriptures and find myself assuming that they are understanding about what I am saying to them, consequently at times I find myself somewhat glossing over some details of the scriptures and not completely getting my point across.

So as I get into this subject matter I will try to explain my message in a little more detail and supply bible verses as needed so that everyone can follow with me a little better.

The subject of this message is to “Be certain of your chance of Salvation and not to be sorry by missing the chance of securing it”. Some of you have been taught and do believe in your heart that you are in fact saved now, but that might not be entirely the truth. For Jesus said as is recorded in Matthew 24:13 “
They that shall endure until the end shall be saved”. So in whatever state of belief that you are in, if your belief is in accordance with God’s plan of salvation and you maintain that belief until the end, you will be saved.

Now God’s plan of salvation for every person is built upon the adherence to following His commandments and believing the gospel of Christ that He has passed on to us. There are certain things that we need to know in order to adhere to God’s plan so that we can take the steps to secure the salvation that He has offered to us. The first thing that must be taken into account has to do with the Spirit of God, which we call the Holy Spirit and the necessity of receiving His Spirit into our heart.
God spoke through the prophet Joel saying that He would pour out His Spirit upon all people (Joel 2:28), and was quoted by the Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost as he preached to the people in Jerusalem (Acts 2:17). But we find out that it was conditional on our part to receive God’s Spirit. It would only happen if we adhered to following the commandment of the Apostle Peter who was given the authority to issue that commandment (Matthew 16:19). The Apostle Peter’s commandment to the people was to “repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and you shall receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) Now unless we follow this commandment of Peter’s we will not receive God’s Spirit that is available to us.

The first part of Peter’s commandment was that we must repent. Now we all know that it is preached in all the churches that this means we must repent of all our sins. To repent in this context means that we should have a change of mind about our belief and turn from our unbelief to a belief in the Gospel of Christ. Our salvation depends upon our belief in the truth of the Gospel. Just as Jesus said in Mark 1:15, “
repent and believe the Gospel”. Again in context, Jesus said to repent of our sin of unbelief, have a change of mind from our unbelief and believe the truth of the Gospel. After all, it is the sin of unbelief in the true Gospel that will keep us from being saved. (John 16:9)(Galatians 3:22)
Now it is necessary for us to have a correct understanding of what the Gospel is. In the book of John 3:16 it gives us the Gospel in a nutshell. It says that God sent His Son to the Earth to secure our future salvation and if we would believe in Jesus being the Son of God, we would inherit eternal life. This fact is reinforced by the words spoken by Jesus and the Apostle Peter which is recorded in Matthew 16:15 thru 18. In these verses Peter confessed to Jesus that He was the Christ, the Son of the living God and Jesus verified that Peter’s statement was the truth. The revelation of the fact that Jesus was the Son of God is the foundation that Jesus would build His church on. If Jesus was not believed to be the Son of God, the church wouldn’t be built upon the right foundation. Some teach that the church is built upon revelation. In itself that is not true, unless you believe that the revelation that Peter received was the revelation that the church was built on.(Matthew 16:17)
Once you repent of the sin of unbelief and believe the Gospel and are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ then you will receive the promise of the Father, the receiving of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible tells us that you will become a member of the Body of Christ when you are baptized and have received the Holy Spirit. (John 3:5)(1 Corinthians 12:13) Only those who are members of the Body of Christ will be received at the second coming of Christ. Those believers that will be carried off to be with Christ will not be in danger of the second death which immediately follows the final judgment of God. (Revelations 20:6)(Revelations 20:14-15)

The bible tells us that “it is appointed for all people to die once and after that comes the Judgment”. (Hebrews 9:27) But there is an exception to this which was provided by Jesus Christ as He said:
whoever believes in me shall never die. (John 11:26) At His second coming when He receives those who are in the Body, He has provided the only Judgment that will take place for them. When the day of God’s great judgment comes, Jesus will stand in place of those who are in His Body because He will already have judged them worthy of eternal life. Jesus meant by His statement of never dying was speaking of the second death and not the death of our flesh bodies.

Now can you say without any reservation that you will receive salvation unto eternal life if you have obeyed the commandments of God and have endured and kept the faith unto the end? Have you repented of the sin of unbelief and believed the gospel of Christ that Jesus was the Son of God? Have you been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ? If you can truly testify that you have done these things, then you have received the Holy Spirit and have become a member of the Body of Christ.

If you have failed to adhere to the instructions given to us by God, especially concerning His only begotten Son, then you will surely face the final White Throne Judgment of God and will be judged according to your works that you have done while in your flesh body.(Revelations 20:11 thru 13)
Take heed that you believe what the scriptures say according to God’s word and receive the promise of the Father. You must reject the misinterpretations of scripture that man has taught which have paved the road to hell and the second death which will be your eternal destination. The bible tells us that there will be those of us who will be disillusioned by signs and lying wonders and will believe a lie and be damned because of it. (Thessalonians 2:9-11) If you were one of them, repent and believe the Gospel according to the scriptures.
Don’t forget what I said at the beginning of this article. According to the Bible, Lucifer, satan, the devil was second in command under God Himself in the beginning of creation. God put him in that position and gave him whatever power he has. According to the Bible, satan can do signs and wonders. He can make fire come down out of heaven in the sight of men, even over a River baptismal scene. He can visit man in the form of an angel of light according to the bible and make false claims about giving someone a gift of divine healing. He can speak to man with an audible voice and mislead him about Jehovah of the Old Testament being Jesus of the New Testament. Satan has the power and ability to know the thoughts and intents of someone’s mind and cause a light to strike the negative film in a way that can cause deception in a picture.

Supernatural signs and wonders cannot be trusted to be from God without the vindication of the truth by the written scriptures being taught. Any man can be used by God and Satan to work miracles, but when deviation from scriptural truth occurs,
God is not in it.

If Jesus Christ will stand with you at the end, will you stand with Him or someone else in your life here on Earth? You alone are in charge of your destiny, because you have been given a free will to believe the gospel and be saved or believe some false preacher and spend eternity in hell. (Revelations 21:15)
