The Way, The Truth and The Life!

The origin and belief that Jesus was truly the only begotten Son of God and the Saviour of mankind must begin and be rooted in the writings of the Book known as Luke in the Bible. Luke the Physician is only spoken of two times in the New Testament according to the writings of Paul the Apostle.

Luke was clearly not one of the Apostles, but was one of many disciples of Jesus and as he stated in the scripture, he had a perfect understanding of all things from the very first. It is obvious in the scripture, if one can believe that Luke was the Author of the Book bearing his name, that he was well acquainted with Mary and Joseph and their families.

Unless we believe the accounts of the visitation of the angels who appeared to Zacharias, Mary and Joseph as being true, we could have no real basis that Jesus really was the Son of God, but if we can believe these accounts then all that was recorded about these accounts must be accepted as the truth.

The angel that spoke to Mary made it clear that the child that was to be born of her would be called the Son of God. Then, as is recorded in the Book of Matthew, an angel announced this same information to Joseph who was engaged to Mary the Mother of Jesus. So we have seen the testimony that the angels have given that Jesus was to be born and would be called the Son of God.

To add to this testimony of the Angels, Mary, Joseph and the writings of Luke the following:

1.    The person possessed by the demons in the land of the Gergesenes said to Jesus: “What have we to do with you, Jesus, the Son of God have you come here to torment us before the time?” (Matt 8:29) Even the demons knew who He was.

2.    And the men who were in the boat who saw him walk on water said: “Of a truth you are the Son of God.”(Matt 14:33) Those who witnessed that He did something that no other man has ever done.

3.    The chief priests, scribes and elders testified that Jesus said He was the Son of God. (Matt 27:43) So if Jesus said so, who can question it?

4.    The Author of the Book of Mark started off saying: “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The testimony of this person must have been credible or his writings would not have been included in the Canon.

5.    John the Baptist, after baptizing Jesus and witnessing the Holy Spirit descending upon Him, testified saying: “And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.(John 1:4) John was sent by God to pave the way for the introduction of Jesus the Messiah.

6.    Jesus speaking to the people said: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3: 16-8) Jesus testified that He was the only begotten Son of God and those who would not accept His testimony would perish.

7.    Jesus testified in His own words that He was the Son of God. “Jesus heard that they had cast a certain man out of the Temple; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Do you believe in the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe in him? And Jesus said unto him, You have both seen him, and it is he that talks with you.” (John 9:35-37)

The basis for discovering the truth in all cases is that “by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word must be established”. Throughout the bible this method was stated and relied on to establish the truth of all things and should be used by all of us in order to know the truth about what is stated in the scriptures. Look at all the witnesses that I have quoted in the above statements, from the word of God’s Angels down through others including the words of Jesus Himself.

How can anyone possibly dispute what these witnesses say? Should we say that the true interpretation of scripture hasn’t been revealed to them and they are mistaken about Jesus being the Son of God? Were the Angels of God wrong? How about John the Baptist, was he wrong? And of course Jesus, He should have know better than to say He was the Son of God if He wasn’t.

There is something really important about this that we all should take into account. Jesus stated in no uncertain terms that whoever believes the Gospel will be saved, but those who don’t will be damned. Jesus also said that He was the way to obtain salvation because that is what God sent Him for. The Gospel, the Good News is that God sent His only begotten Son, to be born of a woman, in order to save those who can believe in Him. Who was Jesus? He was and still is the Son of God, no matter what any other man says He is. If anyone preaches any other Gospel than what the Bible outlines, they are paving the way to hell for you and if anyone accepts this false doctrine that Jesus was actually Jehovah God who came down to us in the flesh instead of sending His only begotten Son to save us, they are missing the only Gospel of salvation that Jesus preached.

Please look at the following statements and believe what the Bible says!

I came in my Father’s name Jn 5:43,

Jehovah, Yehovah, The self existent one, I AM means I exist

Jesus, iesous, from Hebrew ie Yehowshuwa, meaning Jehovah’s salvation

The name Jesus derived from Greek Iesous, from Hebrew Yehowshuwa derived from Yehovah, which is the name of God in Hebrew.

Jesus said: If you continue and stay in my name, you are my disciples and you shall know the truth. John 8:31-32….If you love me, you will keep my words John 14:23.

I and my Father are one.

Then there is a verse in John 10:30 where Jesus is quoted as having said: “I and my Father are one”. The truth is that there were only two words in that verse that were translated into English. The two words were “Father” and “one”. The words that are shown in red were added by the translators in order to say what they believed.

Even if you would accept this as it is written, it does not mean that Jesus and the Father are the same person. To be one with another person means: (1) to be in agreement, (2) with one accord, (3) all of one mind, (4) two or more persons who are in unity. To be one with another person does not mean that the two of them together are one and the same person.

My Lord and my God (Thomas)

Now for the last example, and I quote what the Apostle Thomas said: (John 20:28) “And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God”. Once again the words in red were added by the translators and Thomas only responded with the words “Lord God” when he saw the holes in Jesus’ hands and side. Well in fact I do believe that Thomas was astounded when he saw that and was overwhelmed by Jesus standing there as anyone would be, but just because he would have said “my Lord and my God” doesn’t make it true.

Before Abraham was I AM.

One of those scriptures is John 8:58 where Jesus said: Before Abraham was, I am.” There are those who try to make you believe that the “I AM” proves that Jesus is God the Father because God told Moses to tell the people that “I  AM that I AM” sent you. The truth of the matter is that “I AM’ is not God’s name. After saying that and in the next verse of Exodus 3:15, God told Moses to tell the people that Jehovah, the God of your fathers has sent you. God said that Jehovah was His name for ever, not I AM. Read it yourself and see the truth. Besides that, when Jesus said “before Abraham was, I AM” should have been translated as “Before Abraham was, I existed”. That is the truth, that Jesus did exist with the Father before Abraham was born.

Jesus told His Apostles after He was resurrected that All Power is given to me in Heaven and Earth. Matt 28:18. Yes the Father God did give Jesus the complete power and authority over all things in Heaven and on Earth. Even though, at the end Jesus will deliver all things over to His Father as is stated in scripture. Why? Because Jesus is still subject to Jehovah God. 1 Cor 15:24-28

God gave Jesus the Spirit without measure John 3:34. Jesus did not give it to Himself, it was His Father God that gave Him the Spirit at the baptism by John. This was when God spoke from Heaven and said: ‘This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased Matt 3:17

A voice out of the cloud, which said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear ye him Matt 17:5. This happened when Peter, James and John were on the mountain with Jesus. After this happened, Peter testified to it saying: “And this voice which came from Heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount”. 2 Peter 1:18

Jesus stated that the Father sent Him 34 times in Book of John. Jesus didn’t come on His own, nor did He send Himself, His heavenly Father Jehovah sent Him.

John the Baptist said: “He that sent me to baptize said unto me, upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending and remaining on Him, will baptize with the Holy Spirit. And I bore record that this is the Son of God. John 1:33

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Jesus is the Way because God made Him the way. Jesus is the Truth because He spoke the words that God the Father gave Him to speak and they were all true. Jesus is the Life because God the Father gave Him the authority to give eternal life to those who would believe in Him and who He was.

One Last Word

The time has come to end my battle against the evil Prince of this World and leave my efforts and my work in the hand of God who commissioned me to speak His Word.

The scriptures instructed me to preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine and this I have done.

The scriptures also said that the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. That time is surely this day and I am a witness of this being true.

The bible tells us that in the last days perilous times shall come. people shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with various lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

During these last years of my life, I have traveled the World on the Internet to proclaim the truth of God’s Word at every occasion. I have visited many Websites, Forums and Blog Sites and have found those who have been deceived by the devil’s lies everywhere I have gone. Those who started out as disciples of Christ seeking the truth of the Kingdom of God and His salvation, ended up denying His written Word in favor of misinterpretations of scripture and even blaspheming the Holy Spirit that was sent to teach us the truth.

Jesus said that this evil generation always want to seek after a sign for someone to follow, but no sign shall be given them except the sign of Jonah the Prophet. We must believe His Word and realize that any sign that is presented to us is nothing more than a deception of the devil who presents supernatural occurrences for the purpose of enticing the people to follow his ministers of light, who are in effect ministers of darkness. If the people would look for a sign, they would be inclined to follow a man, but by believing His Word and accepting the Gospel of His Son and keep that faith until the end, we will receive the salvation promised to us.

Just like Paul the Apostle said, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith against all that the devil has sent against me, but through it all I stayed true to God’s Word and the scriptures that He inspired Holy men to write for our benefit.

Remember, It’s All About Jesus

If you confess His Name and that He is the Son of God, you will be saved!

If you deny His Words in favor of false teaching, you will be lost!

HE, JESUS THE SON OF GOD, IS THE ONLY WAY!
