William Branham and his organization in DESPERATION

The Voice of God Recordings organization is on the Defense according to their latest publication of their “Catch the Vision” newsletter.

The Voice of God Recordings is getting desperate and has become defensive because many of its followers have begun to question the validity of its claims about William Branham. It really is no wonder since most of the errors in William Branham’s bible teaching have been exposed as not following the scriptures.

Their latest publication of “Catch The Vision” for the year 2012, Volume 2 is a feeble attempt to defend all of the scriptural misinterpretations and misconstrued assumptions about how William Marrion Branham has fulfilled many prophecies of scripture which has been proven to be false by this and many other websites and have exposed the hypocrisy which they have been involved in for many years.

Everything they contend that William Branham was, they have promoted as being the last days return of Elijah the Prophet who was to return and restore the Apostolic beliefs of the First Century, but he failed to do just that. In fact William Branham, with his private interpretations of Bible scripture, which he called his “revelations”, has led a massive number of Christians farther away from the truth of the scripture as they could be.

Yes, the Branham family business, commonly known as the Voice of God Recordings is on its way to be going out of business because of their products not being sold as much as they need in order to provide the income needed by the family and their close friends who work for them.

The “Voice of God Recordings” is quoted as saying: “So if God did, send a Prophet, shouldn’t we believe all that he says?” Well the answer is in fact that we should believe what a sent Prophet of God says as long as he doesn’t interpret the scriptures to say something that they don’t say. They also say that the devil is causing the people to doubt “The Gospel” today. Well in fact the Gospel states that God sent His only begotten Son, but Brother William Branham disputes that and taught that God didn’t send His Son, instead he taught that God Himself came down to Earth in the body that He made for Himself. Well God can’t be the Son if He is the Father that sent Him.

The Voice of God Recordings makes the argument that we shouldn’t try to reason against the Word when in fact they stated some examples with their own reasoning to dispute the errors in the reasoning of others. They are actually correct in the fact that we shouldn’t try to reason against the written Word of God, but it isn’t the Word of God that is being reasoned against, it’s the interpretation of the Word that Branham taught which didn’t agree with the written Word of God.

They also used an example citing the experience that Paul had on the Road to Damascus about hearing the voice and not hearing the voice, in order to make a futile excuse for Brother Branham’s own contradiction of his own words. Just to make a point about the explanation of “did they or did they not hear a voice,” when Brother Branham was asked about it, he couldn’t explain why that contradiction existed in the scriptures. Well if he had of been a Prophet, don’t you think he could have explained something as simple as that?

Yes, once again I quote them as saying: “if God did, in fact, send a Prophet, shouldn’t we believe all that he says? That is true, but you see, Brother William Branham wasn’t a Prophet and he knew it and explained why he wasn’t on many occasions. And they ask, “why shouldn’t we believe what he said?” Well I do believe what he said about not being a Prophet, why won’t they?

William Branham taught that the Bible was the inerrant Word of God and didn’t contain any errors, but it has been proven by many Bible Scholars that in fact it does contain many errors. Now I will say that the errors were not God’s errors, but were a result of those men who translated the original scriptures into English, that’s where the errors came from.

Let me just say this to the Branham family that publishes this “Voice of God Publications”. Do you know what you are doing to untold thousands of believers? I’ll tell you. This false teaching about not being able to understand the Bible without receiving a “revelation” about what it means is corrupting the minds of the people and causing them to disbelieve the true Gospel of Christ. It’s time for you to stop and give all of these people a chance to believe the truth and be saved.

Here you are promoting William Branham as being a Prophet and he wasn’t. The Angel that he said visited him was not an angel from God or he wouldn’t have got it wrong about the number of gifts that God gave Moses. According to what Branham said the angel told him, was that he was given two signs just as Moses was given two signs. Well that’s not according to scripture. The scripture states that Moses was given THREE signs. I don’t believe that an angel visited him at all. If it had of been an angel from God or from the devil, they would have known scripture better than William Branham knew it. So I believe that Branham made this story up himself just to increase the effectiveness of his ministry.

It was also completely untrue that William Branham was given a gift of healing because it failed to work on way too many occasions. The times that healing did take place was a result of the person’s faith in God and had nothing to do with Branham having a gift of healing given to him. A true gift of healing would work every time, just as a gift of prophecy would come to pass every time and neither one did.

Here is something else that goes against him. After preaching a series of sermons on the Seven Seals of Revelations, Branham removed a portion of the seventh seal message from the tape recording and in a private setting replaced it with something else. A true Prophet of God wouldn’t have secretly met with others in a motel room to change the record of what he had preached the night before in order to not lose many of his followers as he thought the original message that he preached would have caused it to happen.

Now what about the two signs that Branham was given to support his ministry? How can the two signs that he used have come from God if the angel that gave them to him did not come from the presence of God as I stated earlier? Just think about that and let the Holy Spirit awaken you to the truth.

Now about the picture with the light above Branham’s head that was taken in Texas many years ago. Was God actually responsible for that occurring? Well it might be possible, but there is no real evidence that God was the cause of it. There are a few other ways that light could have struck the negative in the camera, so don’t rule that out. All that picture has been good for all these years was to cause believers to believe the false teaching that Branham did. Teaching that is in contradiction to the Holy Scriptures. I can’t believe that God would have provided that kind of phenomenon to occur that was going to cause anti-scriptural teaching to evolve and provide His people with an idol for them to hold to and take the place of the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Then the publishers of the “Voice of God Recordings” make an issue in their edition of “Catch The Vision” about the length of time the Israelites were in Egypt, the four hundred years versus the four hundred thirty years. They themselves need to study the Bible a little closer and they will understand that Israel was only in Egypt for 215 years and not 400 or 430 years. Once again, their prophet didn’t have an accurate understanding of this either, just as many other things in the Bible.

Then the publishers of “Catch the Vision” ask the question: “Do you trust what you read on private WebPages over what you hear from the prophet of God?” My answer to this would be which of those do you believe? Shouldn’t it be that you believe that which is the truth and conforms to the scriptures in the bible and not according to the private revelations of some man that contradicts the bible itself while he continues to teach that the bible is the inerrant Word of God. Choose who you will believe. Will it be God’s inspired word or man’s private interpretation of it?

The headlines of the latest edition of “Catch the Vision” reads: “Elijah the Prophet Returns”. This in itself is in conflict with what William Branham himself said. He said that he was not the Elijah which was to come, but this great person, who will straighten out all that has been misconstrued about the bible will come after him and that is exactly what God showed him which was true.

The time is growing closer when the walls of the ministry of the “Voice of God Recordings” is going to crumble down around them. Why so? Because this is just one more part of the movement of the Antichrist and like the scripture tells us about Babylon, in one hour the judgment of God shall come upon them when He removes that false idol that is in the possession of many people all around the World. Then how will they explain to everyone how such a thing could happen and why did it happen? Will they say that the devil was behind it and blaspheme the Holy Spirit who will cause it to occur?

So the Publishers of “Catch the Vision” asks the question of me:

Do we believe Mr. Unbeliever, when God has NEVER vindicated my ministry with a miracle?

Do we believe Mr. Skeptic, when I point out the contradictions of William Branham, rather standing on every word that he spoke?

How about Mr. Impatient, when I say that all of his prophecies did not come to pass?

The Voice of God Publications says that the “Revealed Word for the day” is the truth of what the scriptures actually mean according to the teaching of William Branham. I ask you this, shouldn’t we instead believe literally what the scriptures tell us about the Gospel of Christ? Jesus said that in order to be saved and inherit eternal life it is imperative that we believe what He said and not what any man says.

So if any of you have read the latest issue of “Catch the Vision” it is obvious that the Voice of God publishers are feeling the heat. They obviously know that their time for deceiving the people of God is about to come to a close when this Gentile dispensation ends and that time is at hand.

We must decide this day who we will believe! Will it be the biblical interpretations of a man or will it be the inspired writings of scripture?

Seeing that most of William Branham's doctrines were delivered to him by Angels, I'd personally not be interested in disputing them.

How many Angels have you been visited by Mr. Cox?

Ron Cox said...

Well Benjamin C

I wonder if the angels that delivered William Branham's doctrines to him were the same angel that visited him the first time.

That angel that visited him to give him his commission misquoted the bible about the number of gifts that God gave to Moses and told William Branham that he was being given a gift of healing which he never received.

Obviously these angels must not have come from the presence of God in light of everything they got wrong about Moses' gifts, the gift of healing and the doctrines that Branham preached.

Will you never cease from being blind all your life? I really thought you were more intelligent than to accept teaching which is in contradiction with the Bible which God gave us.

Yes I am Mr Cox....Thanks

Well since I am a very busy man and do not have much time to discuss these things with you, I will leave you with this one thought.

The sign of a true prophet is that his prophecies will come to pass. I'm aware of hundreds of Mr. Branham's that have. You, on the other hand, have made one such prophecy which has yet to come to pass. And I will have to say that the day the light does disappear from all of the pictures, I will be the first one aboard the "Ron Cox is the seventh messenger" train.

Until that day comes, my intelligence that you speak of leaves me inclined to believe the man with the heavenly being hovering over his head.

And one more thing. If his gift of healing was so non-existent, try explaining to my wife's grandmother how William Branham's prayer for her contributed to her being healed of tuberculosis and cancer, and after 55 years is still alive today. You don't have to go far to hear stories like this.

I can well understand why you believe, what you believe about William Branham and his ministry, I felt the same as you many years ago before I came to the knowledge of the truth about those things.

I certainly wish that he had been the real thing, it would have saved me from feeling so much anguish about a man that I had such admiration about when I knew him.

But such as it is, it is only my mission to publish the truth as it has been revealed to me and it's up to God to do the work in the hearts of those who are so misguided and have been deceived by the works of satan.

I realize that many healings took place during his ministry which were a work of God and not a man.

You're aware of hundreds of his prophecies that came to pass? All you are aware of is what someone else has told you in which there is no real proof of. Most of the testimony of healings, miracles and fulfilled prophecies came out of William Branham's mouth and were not truthly verified by anyone else.

But all of you are free to believe what you will and if it's wrong, to be damned by the truth of the bible which is being ignored by many.

Benjamin C. said...

You failed to address your lack of prophetic fulfillment in your response.

Malachi 4 calls for a man like Elijah (a prophet, not a teacher) to come to turn the hearts (not the doctrines and teachings) back. Elijah prophesied many times. As I have asked, where are your fulfilled prophecies?

The light is still on the pictures.

Ron Cox said...

Well Benjamin C you just won’t give up will you.

You keep attempting to make this all about me and it’s absolutely not about me. It’s all about the truth of God’s Word and how William Branham and most other Christian Preachers in this World have misinterpreted it and made themselves false teachers just as Jesus prophecied there would be in these last days.

I have proven by using the scriptures that William Branham was in error with his teaching, that he was not a true prophet of God because there is no evidence that any of his prophecies came to pass, that no angel ever visited him and gave him a gift of divine healing, that the light in the picture above his head in the picture could not have been proved that it was of a supernatural nature and many other things that you are fearful to admit.

It’s all about truth and the truth contained in the scriptures, notwithstanding the idol worship that all you message believers are involved in which will cause you much harm in the next life.

Don’t keep attempting to defer from the truth which has been presented to you and try to make me the center of attraction. I am doing what God has sent me to do and present the truth of God’s Word to all of you message believers in the hope that your eyes might be opened to see the errors of your belief.

Either you should face the facts and admit that what I have presented is the truth of God’s Word or just forget trying to harass me with your silly statements that make you look foolish in my eyes and certainly in God’s eyes.

Benjamin C. said...

Nobody is harassing you. You made the ridiculous public claim about the light in the pictures, now it DOES make it all about you.

You can keep claiming, until your dying day, that God sent you to correct everybody's teaching, but the fact remains that your one and only prophecy has failed. You can keep changing the subject and attacking William Branham, but you cannot deny the light is STILL in the pictures.

You should have never made such a ridiculous statement. It has destroyed any credibility you ever had.

Ron Cox said...

Benjamin C you certainly picked the right article to submit your comments on. “DESPERATION” fits just the way you are demonstrating with your personal attacks on my credibility.

You are so desperate to discredit me just because I have disclosed the false teaching of your false prophet which he was guilty of by his own words that you can't recognize the truth when it's presented to you by someone who cares about the saving of your soul.

I apologize that I haven’t been able to make my prophecy come to pass in order to satisfy you. Unfortunately I can only speak those things that I believe God has revealed to me and leave it up to Him as to when, if ever He decides to make it happen.

Now if you want to do something constructive and good for your soul, accept God’s Word as it is written in the Bible and turn your back on the false teaching that you and the other message believers have been fed with and glorify God with your faithfulness to His Word.

Although, I know that is not your motive with your comments to glorify God, instead you get more enjoyment attempting to distract from the truths of which I have written.

Now if you want to talk about prophecies that did not come to pass, let’s talk about those failed prophecies of William Branham.

Let’s start with the one that the United States would be in ashes in the year of 1977, then the one about Los Angeles sinking into the Ocean before his son became an old man, then there is one that he said by “thus saith the Lord” that one of his sons was a prophet and many other “thus saith the Lord” statements that were not true.

Now it’s time for you to take one more look at that picture of him and build your faith back up and defend him by attacking my credibility some more.

Just love the Lord with all your heart and pray that you have his Holy Spirit living in you and that you are Rapture ready. There will be many that believe Brother Branham was indeed a prophet who will not make it in the rapture. There will be many who did not fully believe it or never heard of Brother Branham that will be in the Rapture. In these last days we all should be focusing on serving him with all that is in us and making sure that perfect love is always reflecting on the inside and outside. Making sure we die daily and just bask in his glory.

Bible Man said...

I have heard many Message of the Hour believers state that if you don't believe that William Branham was a Prophet of God and if you don't accept that everything he taught was the truth of God's Word, you won't be saved.

Jesus said that you must believe the gospel and be baptized in order to be saved and if you don't believe the gospel you will be damned.

William Branham taught that the man Jesus was not the Son of God, but was God Himself that came to Earth in a flesh body that He made for Himself.

If anyone believes that part of what William Branham taught, then they don't believe the gospel that Jesus preached.

Thus saith the scriptures!

Believing on anything is not enough. You must receive his Holy Spirit or you will not enter in. Nothing else matters if you don't have the Token. God will not let Any of His Children Perish. Don't worry yourself so much with what others do or don't believe. Make yourself ready, live right, love one another, be humble and live the life of Christ, don't just talk about it, that is for all of us who proclaim to love the Lord.

Ron Cox said...

Anonymous, your statement doesn’t seem to relate to the subject of this blog, but appears to be an admonition because of this work of God that is being published.

Well satan has been attempting to discourage and debase this work for a long time without success and he’s not about to now.

Your advice, which was not solicited, is not needed or wanted about “not worrying about what others do or don’t believe”. It just sounds like it came out of the mouth of satan as had been tried before.

It’s also obvious that some of the words you use like: “having the token” and “being humble” are associated with William Branham and are used extensively by his followers as you appear to be.

Your whole judgmental attitude about “making myself ready” insinuating that whoever you’re talking about is not “ready” according to your judgment is misguided and seems very familiar to the tone of remarks I’ve heard before.

My suggestion to you as a minister of God, even though you didn’t ask for it, is to stop judging everyone else and judge yourself.

Unless I am wrong thinking who you are and I don’t believe that I am, is to stop pointing the finger at everyone that you don’t agree with, which is what caused you in times past to destroy relationships with everyone around you and pray that you will be ready when that time comes.

This work of God will continue in spite of your opposition satan and in spite of the damage you have done to the lives of others in the past.

The scripture plainly says "two signs". The turning of water into blood was a plague, such as the locust and the frogs. No where in the scriptures does it state "three signs."

I thank you Anonymous for the comment submitted and I will take this opportunity to respond to it.

Since some important emphasis needs to be shown concerning this subject I will respond in a new post which I will call "The three signs given to Moses"
