Will Heaven be your Final Destination?

Throughout the World there are many different religions of which each one of them believe that theirs is the only one that is correct in their beliefs. There are about twenty major religions in the World, I say major only because they exceed in numbers of people above most of the other religions that exist. Without a doubt Christianity has the most number of people, followed by Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism in number of members.

Though Christianity is by far the largest, it is not the oldest. The oldest being Judaism which began many hundreds of years before any other. Judaism began as God introduced Himself to them and set forth certain conditions of worship as He began to deal with them as a Nation under what we know as the old Covenant conveyed to their nation through Moses.

But now God has brought forth a New Covenant under which He makes Himself know to each one of us as individuals and not as a Nation as He did with the Nation of Israel. God did not bring forth this New Covenant to just Israel, but for all the peoples and Nations on the Earth.

Throughout all the religions in the World, including Christianity and Judaism, there are many differences in teaching and the beliefs of the people that are not as important as the Gospel of Christ. Whether you believe or disbelieve certain doctrines or dogmas that are taught by individual assemblies of people, nothing is as important as the teaching brought to the World by the only begotten Son of God Jesus Christ and our belief in the truth of His message.

The Gospel of Christ that was brought to us from God spells out the only way we can be saved from eternal damnation and achieve eternal life with God and with Christ. That good news of the Gospel tells us that God sent His only begotten Son into this World to save all people who would believe the message that Jesus preached.

Because of this Word of God not being accepted and believed by the majority of the people on the Earth, Heaven will not be crowded. Hell has enlarged its mouth to receive all of the unbelievers and the people of all of these other religions who have refused to accept the Gospel of Christ.

Jehovah, the God of the creation of Heaven and Earth and all that is in it has given every Nation in the World the opportunity to hear and believe the Gospel of His Son.

It is God’s will that all of His Word, as is recorded in the Bible, should be understood by all of us and preserved in our heart. There are many differences in our beliefs, not only in Christianity, but among all the religions of the World and none of these differences will prevent us from inheriting eternal life except one. That one is the belief in the Gospel of Christ.

Unless a person accepts that Gospel and believes with all their heart, they will be lost. It doesn’t matter if a person calls themselves a Christian, a Jew or associates themselves with any of the other religions of the World, Heaven is not their destination at the end.

I agree with much of your writings, but we must rightly divide the Word to be saved. Most denominations in the U.S.A. believe in a pre-existence, next to God, for Jesus which is not true. Some, Armstrong taught, believe Jesus is apparently a "lesser God?"

I read your article what happens at death. Here is a short version of what I believe the bible clearly teaches: (1) All thoughts end at death for the saved or unsaved which Solomon clearly taught, so there is no awareness of passage of time for the dead. (2) Since this is true all people will instantly be alive again, but for how long? The righteous will be awakened by Christ when he returns to this earth for the 1000 year reign which is the first resurrection. (3) After the 1000 year reign the rest of the dead are raised and destroyed permanently. Included in the second resurrection will be people who died during Christ's earthly reign saved and the living righteous will also put on immortality at that time. There will be punishment before their destruction that varies from person to person. Jesus clearly taught this. People do not go to heaven at death, but sleep in the grave. Gordy

Many of our bible teachers teach their interpretations and their opinions as being facts, but state these things as being scriptural truths and cause the people to believe what they teach as being God's Word, when it really isn't.

The teaching that Jesus is/was God in the flesh is one of those false teachings that has spread to almost all of the churches and has been accepted as being so.

Jesus stated that God the Father gave Him all power in Heaven and Earth, which is something that God can do to whomever He choses, even you and I if He so choses, but that doesn't make us a God.

Since Jesus stated that He was with the Father before He came to Earth in the flesh and was going to return to the Father does not make Him a God, not even a lesser God, but does indicate, just as scripture indicates, trhat He was a Heavenly being along with the angels which God created sometime in the beginning of things. There are certain scriptures that support that notion.

THanks for reading Gorden, you're on a roll, keep going if you wish.
